  5. Thank you all for your condolences. His death came somewhat as a surprise because he passed on the day he was released from the hospital. We all thought he got through the worst until hours later when he took ill and just didn't make it.

    Words cannot say how great a father he was and how much he will be missed.

    @Jackie: His sister from California made it out on Monday and was able to see him at the hospital. My husband and all of the family have taken it hard. I am trying to get through these last two days but they seem endless. He will be buried on Friday, I tried to get a quicker flight but the prices were outragous.
